Ekuthuleni Retreats 2017
Ekuthuleni is a small, back to basics retreat place in the foothills of the French Pyrenees. It has grown from the wild nature here, from our vision (Noon and Sumedha) of living simply, developing meditation and adventuring into the radical effect that can have on our lives..and now also from the energy of people who come. Grounding and opening in meditation, we can find sensitive presence, deeply interconnected. Touching this space is a gift – and means we are much less capable of causing harm – to ourselves, to others or, crucially now, the planet. The root of what we aspire to and wish to share.
We have a long background in Buddhist practice, mainly the Forest tradition. Living very close to the land and aware of resources we are also constantly learning new ways of living sustainably with all the joy, quirkiness, creativity and hard work that brings..!
We run retreats throughout each summer and autumn (ourselves and a variety of invited teachers). We also welcome people between group retreats for periods of solitary retreat or activity retreat..an experience of participation and flowing community.
