Touching Life

Touching Life

a day retreat facilitated by Kirsten Kratz and Hannah Gower
organised by Bodhi Tree Brighton

Saturday 5th October, 10am – 5pm    //    Brighton, venue tbc

With our world increasingly out of balance we are living in challenging times. We might be facing, in our life time, unprecedented changes. Dharma teachings emphasise the importance of looking inward to investigate what moves us, binds us and frees us as human beings, to understand how we create suffering for ourselves and others and how we can relate to Life in more skilful, fearless, kind and compassionate ways, without denying feelings of fear and despair that may arise at times.

On this retreat day we will begin to explore together the connections between our Dharma practice and our potential to allow our insights to touch life, to contribute to a more just and sustainable world. The day will include periods of silent practice as well as periods of guided inquiry, sharing and explorations inspired, among others, by the work of Joanna Macy.
